Lastovo

Lastovo is an island in Southern Dalmatia. It is 14 km (9 mi) to the south from Korčula and has about 800 inhabitants. Lastovo is the main island of the Lastovo Archipelago, consisting of 46 islets and rocks. It is a nature park due to its beautiful landscapes and dense woods. Although the island is far away from major tourist centres, it offers you peace and quiet in the beautiful, pristine nature, without bustling crowds and heaps of concrete. Lastovo is well-connected to Split and Korčula with European Coastal Airlines – both are less than half an hour away by plane! It is also a great destination for scuba divers because of its deep sea and rich marine life, among of the most diverse in Croatia.
