Trsteno

Trsteno is a district of Dubrovnik, with 237 inhabitants. It is famous for its Arboretum, the oldest botanical garden in Croatia and the Southeastern Europe, as well as the oldest arboretum in the world, founded in the 15th century by the aristocratic family Gučetić-Gozze. The Arboretum is famous for its lush, beautiful vegetation from all over the world, dominated by the two 60-meter (180-foot) Oriental Planes, about 600 years old. It is a place which had the role of the royal gardens in King’s Landing in Game of Thrones.
