Drage
Drage is a small seaside village in northern Dalmatia, 5 km (3 mi) from Pakoštane and 10 km (6 mi) from Biograd na Moru. Isolated, beautiful and relatively unknown, it is a perfect place for peaceful holidays, away from the hustle and bustle of crowded tourist resorts. Drage is ideal for families with children and nature lovers. It is located only 1 km (0.6 mi) from the Lake Vrana (Vransko jezero), with great opportunities for cycling, fishing, picnics and bird-watching. Drage also offers a beautiful vista of the sea, the nearby island of Vrgada and the Kornati Islands, a national park famous for its beauty. The beach is always clean because of the currents and the mild sea-to-land wind, called maestral, which also make it great for windsurfing. You can find facilities like the post, bank, shops or exchange offices in the nearby Pakoštane, or take a one-day trip to some of the many nearby destinations worth seeing: Biograd na Moru (from which you can visit the Kornati archipelago), Vodice (20 km/12 mi), the Krka National Park (30 km/19 mi), Šibenik (30 km) or Zadar (40 km/25 mi).
